Thanksgiving dinner has never been very "traditional" in my family. When I was five my parents bought the property next to their nursery that (at the time) was an operational turkey farm. That Thanksgiving we ate shark. Not being from the U.S. my parents didn't have any connection to the holiday so we've made up our own traditions.
