After growing up on a specialty cut flower farm, Silvanie Farmar Bowers spent twenty years as a floral designer. Her family's farm dating back to the 1880’s was one of the original wineries in Sonoma Valley, with stone ruins from the winery that had burned down so many decades before. Her family started hosting weddings in the ghost winery and surrounding barn and cottages on their farm that became a sought-after wedding venue, Annadel Winery & Gardens.
Silvanie and her sister, Zoe designed all of the florals for weddings held on their farm and helped open a retail flower shop in Hotel Healdsburg with their mother, Lisbeth in 2002. Their work has been featured in numerous magazines and books. After the unexpected sale of their farm, Silvanie continues to work with flowers and photograph people in their homes, gardens and work spaces. She lives in Sebastopol, California with her husband and son.
Always up to collaborate & meet new flower friends.
