Second week of December. We’ve gone back into a lockdown until January 9th.
Second week of December. We’ve gone back into a lockdown until January 9th.
First week of December.
Reached my 200th collage in quarantine this week. Ugh, not sure when this project will end, but at least will have something to look back on.
Another week in quarantine.
Another week - more damn collages.
What an exhausting week. Finally, on Saturday the news shifted and we heard that Biden won the Election. People were dancing in the streets! It was the most joyful feeling in a long time. We celebrated with burgers and champagne!! Let’s hope things will become more progressive and we can join the ranks of other developed countries!
Last week of October…
Been dragging on these lately, but I suppose that’s to be expected. We have to pace ourselves, this has been so long with so many ups and downs.
Another week of collages in quarantine.
It’s been a hell of a week. The Glass Fire roared over Spring Mountain and burned through houses along the corridor of Sonoma Valley that I grew up in. Watching aerial footage of my school bus route with houses and barns completely wiped out is gut-wrenching. Keep going with a daily practice of 30/40 minutes of cutting a pasting and finding shapes in between.
It’s amazing what an afternoon without smoky air does for your mood.

We’ve been in quarantine for two entire seasons now. And fall begins…
Tomorrow, another season begins.
Took a Sunday drive along the coast.
Taking a break from posting to Instagram for a bit.
Another week of collages…
It’ll be six months in quarantine this weekend. It was a hell week here in California, with a record breaking heatwave over the long weekend into a week of more intense wildfires all along the western states. Waking up to a red sky and a day without the sun by mid-week. Layers of smoke covered the sunlight which led to cooler temperatures and better air quality. Ending the week with hazey, ash filled days and they worlds worst air. It is a hellscape.
